What is Paragard?

Paragard is a highly potent worming treatment for cats and kittens. These highly effective and tasty liver-flavored tablets aid in the thorough control and treatment of intestinal worms such as hookworms, roundworms, and tapeworms. Moreover, this single dose treatment is safe to be given to adult cats, breeding queens, and kittens over the age of 2 weeks.

How it works?

Paragard flavored tablets are made up of two active ingredients known as Praziquantel and Oxibendazole. Both Praziquantel and Oxibendazole work together in eliminating roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms in cats. It also has the ability to prevent future worm infestations.

How to Use
Directions

  • Before starting treatment, weigh your cat.
  • Tablet should be administered orally into the mouth of the cat.
  • It can also be mixed with the cat’s meal.
  • At first, an individual measured dose must be given at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12 weeks of age.
  • Once the cat turns 3 months old, give an individual measured dose once every month until the cat is 6 months old.
  • Paragard can be combined with other treatments as well.
