Frontline Plus Flea & Tick Control for Cats
What is Frontline Plus?
Frontline Plus is a vet recommended product for flea control. The monthly topical solution destroys different life stages of fleas and breaks flea life cycle. It kills flea eggs, larvae, pupae and adult fleas. This flea prevention product treats and prevents chewing lice. It protects cats from flea allergy dermatitis and prevents flea re-infestation. Frontline Plus kills all existing adult fleas within 12 hours and ticks within 48 hours. Suitable of cats and kittens, Frontline Plus is also recommended for breeding, pregnant and lactating queens. The waterfast formula makes it effective even when cats get wet.
Kittens can be treated with Frontline Plus from 8 weeks of age.
How does Frontline Plus for Cats Work?
Frontline Plus contains two active ingredients – Fipronil and (s)-Methoprene. Fipronil is an adulticide that kills adult fleas and prevents flea infestation. The other ingredient (s)-methoprene is an insect growth regulator that inhibits growth of flea eggs, larvae and pupae, and completely destroys them.
