What is Frontline Original?

Frontline Original is a simple-to-use flea control treatment for cats. The monthly spot-on kills adult fleas and prevents flea infestation. The topical solution treats and prevents biting lice on cats. The long-lasting property kills newly acquired adult fleas for at least one month and prevent re-infestation. The fast action formula destroys fleas within 12 to 24 hours of application. Frontline Original is waterfast from 24 hours of application. This flea control product is suitable to use in multi-pet households.

It is suitable to use on cats and kittens from 8 weeks of age or older.

How It Works?

Frontline Original contains Fipronil. It is an adulticide which kills adult fleas. The active ingredient spreads over the coat of a cat and is absorbed into the oil glands, which are located under the skin. The adulticide triggers flea’s nervous system, which eventually kills them. The long-lasting effect of Frontline Original protects cats for one full month.

How to Use
Directions

  • Remove a pipette from the foil backed holder.
  • Hold the pipette by the edges with the label facing toward you. Break off the tip of the pipette at the pre-cut line.
  • Choose the area where licking cannot occur e.g. on the back of the neck.
  • Part the coat so the contents can be applied directly to the skin when the pipette is squeezed.
  • Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze several times to empty its contents directly on to the skin.
  • Repeat treatment every month.
