What is Eqvalan Gold?

Eqvalan Gold is a wide-spectrum deworming paste that works against the most common worms and bots in horses. It is known for its effectiveness against controls tapeworms, bots, and roundworms including hairworms, pinworms, ascarids, threadworms, large and small strongyles, mouth stomachworms, lungworms, and summer sores.

How does Eqvalan Gold work?

Eqvalan Gold contains powerful antihelmintic ingredients, Ivermectin and Praziquantel that control worm infestations by paralyzing and killing worms. The easy-to-administer oral paste is safe for pregnant and lactating mares and is suitable for foals 6 months of age or older.

How to Use

Directions

Administer using the plastic syringe.
Rotate the ring ¼ turn to the left to unlock it and slide the ring to rest at the required weight marking on the syringe.
To lock it, rotate it again ¼ turn to the right.
Give the paste by inserting the tip of the syringe and depressing the plunger into the horse’s mouth, on the back of the tongue.
Raise the head of the horse immediately to ensure that the entire dose is swallowed.
Recommended dose is 200 µg Ivermectin and 1mg of Praziquantel per kg (2.2 lbs) of bodyweight.
Each marking on the syringe contains enough paste to treat 100kg (220 lbs) of body weight.
Please note that the withholding period for meat is 14 days.

Mares: Treat every 6-8 weeks.

Stallions: Treat at least twice a year.

Foals: Treat every 6-8 weeks.
