What is Scalibor?
The scalibor is a long lasting paralysis tick collar for dogs. It controls the paralysis ticks and brown dog ticks for up to 12 weeks. This is cost effective, waterproof and odorless tick collar. It comes in one size and is designed in such a way that it fits all breeds and sizes of dogs.
Recommended for dogs and puppies at least 12 weeks of age.
How it works?
The collar consists of an active ingredient called deltamethrin, a synthetic pesticide which prevents tick infestation in dogs. As you place the collar on your dog, the active ingredient gets released into the natural oil glands of his skin by friction. Every time the dog moves, a small amount of deltamethrin releases from the surface of the collar into the skin.
This remains active up to 3months and provide continuous tick protection to puppies and dogs. For long lasting protection it should be worn by your dog continuously. It is recommended that your dog must wear the collar 2 weeks before traveling to an area infested with pets.
